Description
This is a vintage postcard featuring the Owens-Thomas House in Savannah, Georgia.It was built in 1816 and is now a house museum at 124 Abercorn Street.
The front has a color picture of the exterior.
The back says that this cast iron balcony is said to be the site of the Marquis de Lafayette’s address to the citizens in 1824.
Down the center is “Dist. by Dixie News Co., Savannah, Ga.”
The card is numbered P301207 in the postage block.
It measures about 4” x 6” and has scalloped edges.
This postcard is new and has not been written on.
There are no creases, tears, or bent corners.
