Description
Very RARE Post Card circa 1901-1907 that reads: SOUVENIR SILHOUETTE POST CARD JACOBS' PHARMACY THE BIRTHPLACE of CUT PRICES ATLANTA "Silhouette of a man" PURE DRUGS-FAIR DEALINGS. Although I do not know who the man is that the silhouette was created from, the individual had to be of some importance, perhaps even Willis Venable of Jacobs' Pharmacy. While Pure Drugs is mentioned on the post card, Coca-Cola is not. The card is complete and in one piece but is heavily damaged, has many creases, is dirty, and in overall poor condition so look closely at the pictures. However the card is 114 to 120 years old and very rare, and has ties to the birth of Coca-Cola.
